Through My Eyes

For me, photography is much more than capturing a beautiful image. It is a way of honouring the extraordinary wildlife and wild places that make Australia unique.

The Australian bush has always inspired me—its strength and fragility, its changing light, its silence and its remarkable ability to endure. Within it, every animal has a place and every landscape holds a story. Through my photography, I hope to reveal those stories and encourage others to see the natural world with greater appreciation, understanding and respect.

My commitment to wildlife extends beyond the camera. I believe that photography can bear witness, awaken concern and inspire people to protect what cannot speak for itself. Every image I create is grounded in patience, respect and a deep responsibility to the subject before me.

These photographs are my tribute to the Australian bush and the wildlife that depends upon it. They reflect not only what I have seen, but what I believe is worth protecting—for today and for generations yet to come.

CONSERVATION:

Over time my craft has evolved and my main focus is now as a conservationist photographer and advocate for wildlife and our natural ecosystems. I use my images and artwork to showcase the beauty of, and in some cases threats to our wildlife and the environment.  My images are used by a range of Wildlife and Conservation stakeholders to raise public awareness and aid in further research and conservation efforts.

If you wish to aid in wildlife conservation efforts, please visit the Koala Conservation page.
